Payroll: send w2’s by 1/31/06
Payroll: complete 4th qtr payroll tax forms by 1/31/06
1099: gather all information for contract labor and others who receive 1099 and send by 1/31/06
CPA: copies of all December bank statements and reconciliation
CPA: copies of all December credit card statements and reconciliation
CPA: copies of any receipts and description of costs over 300.00 for furniture, fixtures, office equipment, tools and any additional assets
CPA: copies of all quarterly payroll tax reports and sales tax reports
CPA: make sure any journal entries given to you from CPA from previous year have been entered
CPA: make copies of all new loan documents from 2005 and any new vehicle loan documents for company purchased vehicles
New Year: set up tax rate for Employment Security Comm.
New Year: verify deposit liability for 941 tax deposits, monthly, semi-monthly etc.
New Year: clean out all old files and create new ones for 2006
New Year: new deductible vehicle mileage rate for 2006 is 44.5 cents per mile
